The Adamawa State Governor The Rt Honourable Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has commiserated with the State chapter of CAN over the gruesome killing of the CAN Chairman Michika Local Government by the boko haram terrorists. The Governor described his death as a colossal loss to the state and country in general.

The Governor who expressed disgust over the unfortunate incident said the Government is determined to put in its best to ensure the safety of lives and property of its citizenry. He urged the association and family to take solace in God whose will is always right. He also prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and arrest perpetrators of such a heinous act.
Responding, the CAN chairman who doubles as the CatholicBishop of Yola Diocese, Stephen Dami Mamza decried the senseless killing of citizens by the dreaded group and prayed God to avert future occurrence. He called on the federal and state governments to redouble efforts and ensure the issue of terrorism is defeated in the country.
It could be recalled that Lawan Andimi the slain CAN chairman was had been in captivity with boko haram insurgents for weeks.
